How to be more confident in life and reduce anxiety.

Hello everybody! Welcome back to my blog. So, again I'm doing a different post because I feel like such posts do make a difference for some people. It is a bit different from my usual beauty posts. And I'm thinking to do more of such kind of general like casual talk/advice kind of posts. I would be happy if this post helps t least one of you out there struggling from anxiety which is not very commonly spoken about it is definitely worth seeking advice and therapy.

So, today I wanted to talk about anxiety and how to reduce it. This is not spoken about very often on the internet or even in general, because most people don't even know about it. Obviously at some point in our lives, we all feel anxious, let aside how anxious, but at some point we all face it. But for some people, it might be a big deal and an issue that makes their life hard. I'm aware that everyone has problems, but this anxiety makes it even worse for some people. It is stuck like a disorder. I do not scientifically know a lot about this disorder and how it is developed in a person, but it just will not let you do anything. It locks your body and mind and makes you numb like a sloth and you can do nothing.

Your body starts producing a lot of adrenaline and you start sweating.  You slowly loose control over body and feel helpless. You cannot breathe, cannot see, do not know what is happening around. All you know is something is happening to you and you are not comfortable. Sometimes you also feel like vomiting. These are all the signs of anxiety. This is usually observed in teens who complain that they do not want go out and want to stay in their bedroom and do nothing. You can't even blame them. It is the anxiety that does not let them do anything.

When I was young, I used to suffer from an acute case of anxiety. Over the years it reduced but I still suffer from it. It just happens at any time, or at times where you have to do a stage performance or a public speaking. Sometimes it occurs for no reason and sometimes even during the middle of the night. It is not a good feeling and when you get this, you do not feel like doing anything. This put me onto lot of trouble, took away many opportunities from me, but as a young girl, I could not really figure out what exactly was happening to me. Now that I know what it is, I want to share it with everyone and tell them that they are not alone if this is happening to them.

There is no medication for this, but there is definitely therapy. Do share it with your parents or your loved ones and consult a doctor. There are no magic pills that can reduce this but with effort and time, you can definitely reduce this. You can be a confident person again. Anxiety attack or panic attacks are most likely to occur in the same places most of the time. For Example, If you get panic attacks during travelling, it more likely that you get panic attacks again and again during travelling. This takes away the explorer in you, the traveler in you, and your love for adventure cries in silence. To prevent an attack, you stop trying to do anything, skip opportunities and later regret. So always keep trying and take risk. You should be more confident. Always be positive and always feel like you can do it.

If you think you can, you can. If you think you can't, you're right.
                                                                                -- Henry Ford.

This can happen in many places, in a train, bus, school, college, work, during public speech, stage performance and even during the middle of the night. Definitely consult a therapist and go for therapies without fail. You will slowly reduce the anxiousness. Also have faith in yourself. You should stop worrying about what others think of you. In the end, your happiness is the only thing that matters. So do not be scared to do anything in the fear of what others will think, or in the fear humiliation or in the fear of others judging you. People will always speak behind you, that is why they are still BEHIND you and you are AHEAD of them. Keep going on. Move on so far that they cannot see you anymore, and do not let anxiety drag you back. Fly so high and let your success scream so loud that you cannot hear their words of humiliation ever again. You can definitely do this. Speak more and more in public to get rid of stage fear. Do the things you hate the most, to get rid of the fear to do them. Take more risks, and nothing will look risky on your life anymore. By taking risks, I do not mean motorcycle stunts or skydiving without parachute :P Do things that are more challenging for you and have fun. And then at a point, you will reach that level of confidence that others words wont matter in your life anymore, and every challenge looks fun. This is when you become ready to get what you want in your life and achieve success. By being more confident, you're already half way through success. But do not even be over confident and take things for granted as that will result in failure and disappointment. Also, learn that failure is a part of success. So do not get disappointed if you fail once. Make mistakes, learn things, fall down and get up. You cannot make the same mistake twice. So always be faithful and take a step forward every single time.

And lastly, remember one thing,

Do more of what makes you happy
     -- Pointless Blog

Always do what you want to do. Never sacrifice your life and career for anything or anyone. Put all your heart and soul for it and do it, success will come on it's own. If you want to do something, do it now, because later will be too late. Get what you want and do what you ought to and before you realize, you are already successful :D Be positive and spread it like confetti. There will always be negativity every where but positivity is the one that will go far.

Alright guys, so this was a quick little post. I hope that this helped you. If it did then please do share it with your friends. How to have glowing skin and hair this winter.

Hey Everyone! Welcome back to my blog. So it is the winter finally. I love winters. It is my favorite time of the year. Also, I'm very excited for Christmas. I just love everything about winters and Christmas but there is one thing that I a not really looking forward to in the winters. And that is dry and pale skin. Our skin just gets very dry and scaly and not very good to see and to feel. So, today I a going to be sharing my thoughts on how to get glowing smooth skin, this winter.

So, it might be very tempting to have hot steaming showers in the winters because obviously it is very cold outside. But having these hot steaming showers are very bad your skin. This hot water will rip off your skin of its natural moisture and bounciness and make it very dry and dead. So always have showers with lukewarm water instead of hot steaming showers.

Make sure to moisturize your skin regularly. When you are out of the shower and you skin is still a little bit damp, it is the best time to moisturize your skin. All the product will be absorb better and faster without getting wasted or transferring to your clothes. Moisturize you whole body. Even if you have oily skin, you must moisturize. Choose something that is a little bit light. Something that is water based. And if you have normal skin, you can use a normal moisturizer. But if you have extremely dry and scaly skin then oil based lotions are best for you. Apply all over your arms and legs immediately after taking a warm shower.

Keep yourself well hydrated. Drink lots and lots of water. Your body will need that extra hydration because it loses all the moisture. You hands and feet get dry. Your lips are chapped and your hair also gets very dry. So drink a lot of water to keep your body hydrated and for your skin and lips to restore of it natural moisture. In the winter, chances are high for your body and sin to get dehydrated, so make sure that you are drinking enough water. I know that drinking a lot of water is not realistic and is very boring, so to make it more interesting, you can add mint leaves to your water to give it that minty taste or make yourself a nice green tea twice a day. In this way you are not drinking just water but something healthy and with a little bit of taste.

You hair tends to get very very dry in the winter. Sometime to that extent that it start to look like a birds nest. Just washing and conditioning won't be enough during the water. You need to oil your hair before washing. This is called preconditioning. This can be done even if the humidity is high. Do not use a non-sticky oil. Save them for the summer and use a proper sticky warm oil and massage your scalp with an d bring it down to the tips of your hair. Leave it for two-three minutes or overnight if you can and then wash and condition your hair as normal. This will keep your hair smooth and shiny. You can even make a nice hair pack and apply it your hair once or twice a week before washing it.

For this hair pack, you will need:

2 tablespoons of warm coconut oil
1 tablespoon o warm honey.

Take the ingredients and put them in the oven for round 30 seconds. It is important to heat the honey to prevent grey hair. Then mix both the ingredients and apply it your hair and wrap in up in a shower cap to keep the hair. Leae it for about an hour and then shampoo and condition as normal.

Honey will give moisture to the hair while the coconut oil makes it soft and shiny. Doing this at least once a week will benefit your hair and keep it from ripping of it moisture and bounce.

During this cold weather, it is also very normal that your scalp gets very dry and you have a lot dandruff and itchiness. To avoid this there are many thins you can do. As simple as using an anti-dandruff shampoo. Use can also do hot-oil massages to your scalp once or twice a week to get rid of visible flakes of dandruff. Or, you can make a pack to get rid of dandruff.

For this pack, you will need:

6 tablespoons of curd
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
4 tablespoons of oil(coconut/almond/olive)

Mix all the ingredients and apply to your scalp. Leave this pack for 45 minutes and not any longer because lemon is a bit drying and can also cause dryness. So you can also add a little bit of honey if you wish to. Apply this to your scalp only and not to the entire hair. You do not have to use a shower cap. After 45 minutes rinse the mask off and shampoo and condition as normal.

Your face is the part which is constantly exposed to the changing weather and it undergoes all kinds of problems due to weather change. Your skin will feel very dry and flakes especially around the nose and forehead. It is important to moisturize your face along with your body. Do not use the same product for your face and body. Your face skin is thinner than your body skin. Use something that is more gentle for your face skin and something that can keep your skin moisturized for longer because it is constantly exposed to the cold weather.

Moisture your face and body. Once in the morning and once before going to bed. During bed time, use something that is more efficient because night time is the time when you're skin is rejuvenating and repairing. So always use an efficient product for bed time and use a normal moisturizer during the day time when you are in the go, preferably something that has some SPF. You would not like to use separate moisturizer and sunscreen because sunscreens can be too greasy and make your face look oily. Always use multipurpose products that are not drying and non greasy to have glowing skin.

Change all your soaps and shampoos. I personally like to use either dove or pears soaps and face washes. I believe they make shower gels too. Shower gels or gel bars like fiama di wills would be better because they are less drying. Soaps like dove and pears are also non drying. For hair, since scalp can get dry and you might experience a lot of dandruff, Head and Shoulders Smooth and Silky shampoo would be a good option of which a review will be coming up soon so stay tuned. They also have a cool menthol one which is more of a summery shampoo, which I have already reviewed and I will leave the link at the end, so make sure to check  it out once.

Happy Winters :'')

So that is it guys for this time. I hope you enjoyed this post and found it helpful. If you did, then make sure to share it with your friends and give it '+1'. If you have tried any of the packs above then do let me know, also if you know any tips to make smooth skin and hair during the winter, let me and everyone else know in the comments. A review will be coming soon, so stay tuned and subscribe to get notified.

Simple ways to have a better lifestyle.

Hello Everyone! So yeah, again, it has been a while since I blogged. I'm sorry. I'm trying my best to post as frequently as possible. So today, I am going to talk about something different. Something that's not only going to make you look or feel better but also live better. In this busy world, we all working do damn hard to get what we want and adapt to unhealthy habits in the process which is going to affect us in the long run. It is always good to live a healthy life whilst doing what you love to lead a better life. Life can never be perfect but trust, it can always be better. It might seem hard at times and you feel like giving up, but the reality is not even half as  hard as what you expected. Hard times don't last forever and time heals everything and life keeps getting better and better day by day. You can adapt to simple habits in your everyday life that are going to drastically change the way you feel about yourself, life and also help you in the long run. I cannot guarantee you that is is going to completely change your life but trust me, it will make it better and it keeps getting better. It all completely depends on the way you see it. Which leads to to the first topic I want to talk about.

1. Positive Attitude.
You must always have a positive attitude towards life. If you think negative, everything and everyone around you will look and feel negative and you won't really enjoy life. If you want to live life happy, spend every minute enjoying it no matter how hard the situation is and how impossible life might seem at times, it never is that bad. How hard can it be? There is always a solution to everything. It is better to face your fears than running away and then realizing that it wasn't even worth running away. Trying to find a solution no matter what the situation is a good spirit and the first step of having positive attitude towards life. Trying to procrastinate or running away is definitely going to be hard for you in the future and make you think more negative and negative and then you don't really feel like it. You start to feel uncomfortable in most situations and sooner or later you become habituated to running away and every little hurdle of life seems like a big problem. So whatever comes in the way, accept it with a smile and think about how to face it rather than not doing anything about it and then regretting.

2. Live More, Phone less.
Most of us, well all of us are constantly looking down- looking at our phones these days. I admit being a blogger I do that too but it is not very good for you. It's not good for your spine and for your personal life. It is good to take some time off from social network and get disconnected from the world once in a while and really live your life. Live some moments without clicking and posting. You don't have to post everything on social media. The less you are posting, the more you are living. And the more you live, the better life you have offine than you display it on social media. I'm not saying to not use social media. I'm just saying not to get addicted to them. It also disturbs your sleep if you are continuously on your phone or laptop during bed time. So try to use less in the evening and also do not look at your phone as soon as you wake up. Trust me you will feel a lot better once you start living a real life and makes your whole day awesome.

3. Waking up Early.
I know work and pressure can get a bit too much that you sacrifice your sleep. No one gets enough sleep these days but it is very important to get to sleep early. Sleep time is when your body is healing and rejuvenating. Everything is getting during sleep. So always get enough sleep. Sleep for at least 7 hours and wake up early. Waking up early really makes a difference. Rather than getting up late and feeling tired and grumpy the whole day, get up early and take a shower immediately to feel fresh. By waking up early there are so many things you can do. Instead of looking at your phones, go and have a look out of the window. Spend some time thinking about what you want to do for the day and make a to-do list and it is not necessary that you have to do everything from your to-do list. Also make realistic to-do lists. And freshen up your mind and get ready for the day with a smile. Every morning be thankful that you have a bed to sleep on and smile and continue the day.

4. Having a good nutritious breakfast.
It is important to eat breakfast. Most people skip this but it is very essential. Early waking as mentioned above will leave you enough time to make some breakfast or try to make something at least the night before and have a good and filling breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day so try to eat something healthy to keep you going throughout the day. It is like a fuel to your body because you are eating after a very long time and your body needs something to work and function. So never ever skip breakfast. You ca even have something as a smoothie which is thick and filling. You can even make it the night before and keep it in the refrigerator and take with you and drink it on the go. But make sure you are having something.

5. Exercise.
Getting some exercise is very god for you. It improves your health physically and mentally and keeps you fit. Regular exercise is essential and will benefit you in the long run. It keeps you in positive mood. You can do things as simple as going for a walk early in the morning or in the evening when it gets a bit dark. You can take you a dog for a walk or walk with your brother/sister/partner/friends. It will really effect your mood. Or if you are trying to get more fit then you can also go for jogs and do some stretches. You can find easy workout videos online and do them. Really quick and easy workouts. If you want to go hardcore the you can join a gym and do heavy workout 5/6 times a week. But getting some form of exercise is very important. You can either workout in the morning or evening or both depending on your comfort and schedule.

6.Get ready for the day.
So once you're done with your workout, get ready for the day. Start by taking a warm shower. Wash your hair if you feel like Wear your favorite pair of clothes or if you are feeling fancy, wear a dress. Wear some makeup if you like to and do your hair all pretty. Hair makes all the difference, even if you do not wear any makeup, a good hair day can save the day. So if you are not into makeup then spend some time styling your hair. Wear comfortable yet pretty looking shoes and lastly finish off by spritzing perfume. And go out and start making your dreams come true. :D

7. See the good in everything.
At by the end of the day, make sure you are always positive and see the good in everything. It is okay to have a bad day. But always remember that everything happens for a reason. Do not let yourself down for anything and always have faith in yourself. Surround yourself with more positive people and always do what you love. If you're having a bad day, remember that it won't last for long. Always remember to the see the good in everything and appreciate everything and avoid negativity. This will help you have positive impact on life. It will change the way you think, you will be less judgmental and start loving your life and others life. Learn to appreciate others without questioning yourself and never compare yourself with others. Then, you will live a very happy and positive life.

Alright guys, that is it for this time. I hope you enjoyed this post. I know it is a bit different from my usual posts. I just wanted to write something different. I will still continue posting my previous type of posts but for a change i felt like writing something which is a little bit deep.

Review: Lakme Absolute Skin Mattreal Mousse

Hey Guys.

So I know it has been quite a while since I have blogged. I just have been very busy with life. :P
I still am trying to spend at least 10 hours a week on blogger but because of my busy lifestyle I somehow fail. :p
But, I still am trying and will try to post as frequent as possible.

So, Today I am going to be reviewing a product. It is the Lakme Absolute Skin Mattreal Mousse. I have been using for a really long time and no I think I can review it perfectly :D

Product Description:
Lakme Absolute
Lasts upto 16 hours. Feather light texture. SPF 8.
Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse.

Feather light texture with a mousse to powder finish for breathable natural skin.

Price: Rs 725/- for 25 grams.

Shell life: 24 Months.

So, I have used one whole pot of this and this has worked quite decent. It has a very light to medium coverage. So, If you have a serious issue of acne, then you must use a concealer. However, for everyday use, it is perfect. It is very light and feels like there is nothing on your face. It evens out the skin and gives it a very flawless finish.

It claims to last for 16 hours. That is not true. It will stay on your skin for 16 hours sure, but makeup fades and oxidizes. I have very oily skin and it is very humid in the place I live, So mine oxidizes almost immediately, depending on how humid it is.  It has a citrus fragrance just like every Lakme product, and I personally have no problems with their fragrance. This fragrance also doesn't last long. If fades as soon as you apply it to you skin and is completely gone by the time you blend, which take absolutely no time at all.

It is perfect for oily to combination skin types. If you have dry skin, then avoid this. You can definitely use it but you have to moisturize your skin loads. I have used this every single day. It is very light, and makes your skin soft. It has a useless SPF of 8. I don't know why it does, but I wear a sunscreen prior to my makeup, with a higher SPF because I spend a lot of time in the sun, so I have to make sure that my skin stays protected.

Since my skin is like butter greasy, I set it with some powder, but you don't have to do it if your skin is normal. It is a cream formula which sets into a powder.

If you are looking for something that has more coverage and lasts much longer, then avoid this. This is good for an everyday natural look. But if you are going for a party or a night out, or for a special occasion then go for a better foundation like their Face stylist from the Absolute range.

All I can say in the end is that it is perfect foundation for everyday use of you want a light coverage. Perfect for school/college/work. But if you extremely oily skin and you live in a very humid area, then definitely use a primer and then set it with a translucent powder otherwise it will oxidize and turn orange which happens to me pretty much everyday. If you have extreme dark circles and tiny zits, then go ahead and use a concealer along with the mouse.

Pros;
Light
Non-oily
Long-lasting(not 16 hours)
East to blend
Looks natural

Cons;
Oxidizes and fades
Had very less SPF
No ingredients list :(

On the whole, I will give this product a 3.5/5

I will recommend this to those who have oily-combination skin and a looking fr a product and that is light on the skin and on coverage as well. But, if you live in humid places, then definitely use a primer and a setting powder.

So that's it for this time, I hope you found this post helpful, if you did then please share it with your friends and give it a '+1'. If you have already used this then let me know in the comments how it worked for you and subscribe for more.

I will see you guys soon(hopefully :P)
Until then take care
Bye <3

Monsoon skin and hair care

Hello Everyone! Welcome Back to my blog.

So, the monsoons are on their way so I thought it is time to do a post on it. I am going to be talking about skin care and hair care tips for this monsoon. So basically, it is summer and monsoon, which means a lot of heat and humidity. So I will be giving you some tips, that might help you beat the heat, humidity and the rains :P

Skin care:
1. Use a mild face wash.

It is important to use a face wash which is not too harsh on the skin. Use a mild one, preferably a gel based one to keep your skin clean and fresh. Wash your face twice daily, once in the morning and once in the night. This is a very obvious step but still most people skip. Clean skin is beautiful skin.

2. Exfoliate.

Chances are more to get clogged pores in the monsoon, so it advisable to exfoliate more frequently but make sure that you do not rip your skin of its natural moisture. Use a gentle exfoliator a least once a week or twice depending on your skin and weather. It is always good to deep clean your skin once in while. It goes deep and gets rid of all the gunk and sebum and dirt and what not.

3. Toner

Use a toner or an astringent depending on your skin type. The best thing to use which I always recommend is natural rose water. Keep in the fridge and apply with a cotton pad. This will calm you skin and close the pores. Use the after washing you face in the morning to close your pores and in the night to calm your skin from a hectic day.

4. Moisturize.

It is very important to moisturize your face. Most people skip in this in the monsoon because the moisture levels in the air are quite high. But you should still moisturize your skin twice daily. Even if you have oily skin, just use something that is light and has SPF. Now that is getting colder and skin is getting much drier, don't ever skip this step. This will keep you skin soft and radiant and add a beautiful glow. It also helps your makeup to glide smoothly and last longer, especially in this season.

5. Sunscreen

Protect your skin from the sun. You might not see the sun, but it is still very important to put sunscreen on because UVA rays can still damage your skin. Make sure to use an SPF of at least 30. Every other form of care and pamper you do for your skin goes to waste if you skip this. So always wear sunscreen no matter how the weather is, whether it sunny, cloudy or rainy. Never skip sunscreen. Most skin diseases including cancer are caused due to the sun. So always keep you skin protected.

If moisturizer and sunscreen get too heavy, then use a moisturizer with SPF. That way you will not get the heavy or sticky feeling on your skin.

Use a silicon based primer to make your makeup last longer and to prevent oxidizing because the humidity will be high in the monsoon.

Try to use more powder makeup products than the creams ones. It will be light, natural and breathable.

Hair care:

1. Wash

Wash your hair every two days or every other day. If the humidity is very very high, then wash your hair every day but wash it a bit more frequently because the weather makes your hair a bit kinky.

2. Most people skip the conditioner but you must use a conditioner every time you shampoo. Personally my hair feels better without the conditioner, but I do not completely ski it. I just like to use a very tiny amount. very little, like a pea sized amount for my hair and then rinse off. I have thin, fine and long hair and I also like to proper oil my hair before washing it, so I do not need a lot of conditioner.

Even if you have thick hair, you don't really need a lot of conditioner. A little goes a long way.

3. Oil/serum

Use a good after wash serum or an oil. I like to use a serum on freshly washed hair and a non-sticky oil on the next day hair. I usually wash my hair after that or leave it for another day an use a proper sticky oil that night. It all depends on your hair type and the weather but this is what work for my hair. But it is very important to use a good oil.  It acts like a moisturizer to your hair and prevent it from looking like a birds nest.

I use the Livon Silky Potion and Parachute Jasmine hair oil which I have already review. I will leave a link in the end, check them out if you haven't already.

4. Tie your hair.

You might have hike in hair fall :p
Try to tie your hair most of the time or at least on the day you are not washing it to prevent hair fall. It is not good to expose the hair to extreme weathers. Instead of tight ponytails, go for loose braids to prevent pattern hairfall.

5. Scalp massages.

Do a at-home scalp massage at least once a week to improve the blood circulation. Just warm up some oil (whichever suits you) and gently massage you scalp and leave it overnight and wash it in the morning. Your hair will feel so soft and silky. This is only good for your hair but it is also good for your mind and body. It relaxes your mind and gets rid of headaches. Regular massages will keep your healthy and also make you a calm and a happy person.

General tips.

It is important to have a healthy balanced diet. Eats lots of fruit to keep your hair and skin fresh.

Our immunity goes down in the monsoon so have good consumption of vegetables.

Drink lots and lots of water to keep yourself hydrated.

Have vitamins and minerals either through heathy food or supplements.

Try to stay away from junk food as much as possible because diseases are east to spread at this time of the hair.

Wash your hands frequently with an anti-bacterial soap/hand-wash.

Carry a hand sanitizer, wet tissues and dry tissues.
You are all set for the monsoons. ;)

Alright guys, so that is it for this time. I'm sorry that it is not really monsoon anymore at the moment but it is rainy and disgusting in most parts of the country, so i really hope that you found this helpful and if you did then please do share it with your friends and it a '+1'. Subscribe for more and I will see you soon.

Shell life:
30 Months.

It is important to use a high SPF on both face and body, even though the face ages first. I found that SPF 50 in this range was too sticky, so I tried the SPF 30 and it worked pretty good. I'm not being biased. I give the same importance and care to my face and body. I hate the sticky feeling all over my body, especially because  I live in a very humid area it feels very uncomfortable, so this was the only option.

Coming to the claims, this does not feeling sticky on the skin or anything (but the SPF 50 felt too sticky). It gets absorbed into the skin and feels smooth. It does stay on the skin for a decent amount of time and gives a good protection for skin. Usually dermatologists recommend SPF 30, but I prefer a bit higher because I spend a lot of time in the sun, but this one gives protection for decent amount of time and doesn't fade. It is moisturizing and water resistant, which is perfect for the monsoons and doesn't give a white cast.

I use this all year round on my arms and legs and it stays and protects decent all year round. I do not re-apply the sunscreen as in this busy world, it is not really possible to remember about re-applying the sunscreen. So I just use this once in the morning and that's it. It stays good on my skin for the whole day and I did not get any burns or uneven tan lines of the design of my fabric :p

If you are going for swimming, this will still stay on the skin, but I will recommend to reapply it. If you are going to be spending one whole day in the beach, then I will suggest to take the sunscreen with you and definitely re-apply every two-three hours or after swimming, but on a day-to-day basis, it is not required and also, who has the time for it? :P . However it is suggested to re-apply whenever possible.

Between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM is the most dangerous time for sun exposure and that is also the time when most people are outside including myself, and this works very well and so far I had no issues with my skin from the product and also from the sun :P Although it is an immediate sunscreen, I would still suggest to wait for at least 10 minutes so that it gets absorbed well and sets.

I first put sunscreen on my face and body, and wait for five minutes and then do my hair and makeup. This way you can save time and do not have to separately wait for it to get absorbed. Sunscreen should always be applied in the end, and then do your makeup. However, if it is a chemical sunscreen, you can apply it prior to your moisturizer. :)

So, that is it for this time. I hope you all found this helpful and if you did, then share it with you're friends and give it a ''+1''. If you have used this sunscreen, then let me know in the comments how it worked for you. Don't forget to subscribe for more :)

I will see you soon. Until the take care.
Bye <3

Beginners Makeup Kit Essentials.

Hello Everybody! Welcome back to my blog!

So, today I am going to share a list of things which are basically makeup essentials for beginners to makeup and are confused. When I was new to makeup, I was quite confused and did not know what to get, so I thought that this would be helpful to all the young girls who are new to makeup.

1. Powder Foundation.

It is best to start with a powder foundation rather than a cream/liquid foundation, because your skin might take some time to get used to the makeup. Buy a powder foundation that matches your skin. You have plenty of options in the high-end and drugstore, so there is plenty to choose from. Pick something that you can afford and matches your skin texture, the weather of your area and everything else. Get a compact one as it is easy to carry around and is easy to use and is travel friendly.

2. Concealer/BB Cream.

If you have acne, then you can use a concealer or if you have a little bit of uneven skin, then just use a little bit of a tinted moisturizer o a BB cream. If your skin doesn't have these issues, as most young skins do not, you can completely skip this. Again you can get both affordable and slightly higher-end options in this. Just dot a little bit of BB cream all over your face and blend. A little goes a long way. If you want to use a concealer, use a little bit under the eyes in the shape of an inverted triangle, a little bit around the nose and mouth and bridge of your nose, and also anywhere else where you might wanna cover up a little.

3. Eyebrow pencil/Gel.

Eyebrows frame the face. Invest in a good quality eyebrow pencil and fill your brows if they are sparse. If your eyebrows are naturally thick and bushy, then just groom them and set them with a tinted/clear brow gel. This will make sure that they stay in place. You can also get eyebrow powders if you want it to look natural. Always go for a natural brown and never use black.  If you have lighter hair, then go for an ashy blonde. Always fill your eyebrows before leaving the house. This makes a lot of difference.

4. Eyeliner/kohl.

It is good to have an eye liner or a kohl. It all depend on personal preference when it comes to this. Usually liquid liners are a bit glossy and kohls are more matte and natural. Or you can use liquid liner if you want to have cat eyes. You can have both and rock any kind of a look. How you want your eyeliner to be is completely personal, you can have a sleek line or a smokey line or winged liner or a single stroked line. It is good to have both as you can experiment and rock a different look everyday. Eyeliner can be applied on the lash-line whereas kohls can be applied on both lash-line and water line.

5. Mascara.

This is the most important step. Never leave the house without mascara. Even if you have naturally long and curly lashes, use a little bit. It makes a lot of difference. When you absolutely have not time to do any makeup in the morning for school/college/work, just do a double coat of mascara on the top and bottom lashes and run the remaining product on to your brows, and you are ready for the day. :) Trust me, this will make your eyes look more awake and make your face look fresh. Mascara makes all the difference. ''Makeup is never complete without mascara.'' Or in this case, "Just the mascara can complete your makeup".

6. Lipbalm/lipgloss/lipstick.

This is again personal preference, but I would suggest to go for a tinted lipbalm or a gloss for beginners rather a lipstick. Again, it all depends on the look you are going for and how intense you want it to look. Invest in a good selection of pinky nudes and peaches.
In case of a lipbalm, look for something that has SPF in it for added sun protection :)

7. Eye shadow.

If you want to wear eye shadow, invest in a good nude pallet. But I have to be honest with you and tell you that blending eye shadows takes a lot of practice and the right brushes. So you might wanna get this later, or just go for one nude eye shadow color to hide the veins on your eyes..

8. Blusher/bronzer/highlight.

Get a good palette which has a nice peachy blush, a contour shade and a highlight shade. This can really add some dimension and some depth to your face. Such 3 in 1 palettes are made by many brands, easily available, very affordable and perfect for beginners. Remember; Less is More when it comes to blusher, bronzer and highlight. So pick sublte shades and go with a light hand.

9. Makeup Brush kit.

Invest in a good brush kit because not every makeup can be applied using hands. You will need brushes for blushes and eyeshadows. There are many brands in drugstore and high-end options that make basic brush kits. A big fluffy brush for powder, blush, etc. A slightly small brush for precision, contour, highlight, etc. Small eye brushes for eye shadow blending and eyebrows etc etc. So it is always better to have a basic brush kit.

10. Makeup Bag.

Mess is not good. Store all your makeup in a nice medium sized bag. Since we beginners do not have a lot of makeup, one bad is enough :P. If you store different products in different places, chances are you will loose them. Keep them in an organized way inside a bag. :)
This will also make it east for carrying around or travelling :D

Do let me know in the comments if there is anything else that you think should be in a beginners makeup kit, and also let others know :). Do not forget to subscribe to my blog for more.
