High School/ College Beauty Essentials.

Hello Everyone! Welcome Back to my blog!

So another academic year is going to start and most of you are joining in high schools or colleges, or it's a fresh new year, so I thought it would be perfect to talk you through some of the beauty essentials that would be essential :P

1. Sunscreen.

It is very important to use a sunscreen every single day! I always stress on this single point because most skin problems you get are because of the sun, which in future will lead to skin cancer. So it a must to use a sunscreen every single say. Especially in college, you will be walking a lot, from one class to another and there is a lot of sun exposure. My favorite sunscreen is the ''Neutrogena" one. I have already reviewed it and I will leave a link for you in the end so you can check that out. If you have dry skin, then you have to moisturize your skin a lot before using a sunscreen because this is a very light one. If you have oily skin, then just the sunscreen would be enough because it might get a bit too heavy to use both.

2. Compact Powder.

You must have a good quality Compact powder with you at all times. Try to get something which has a bit of coverage along with matte properties. Skip the foundation and use a compact powder on the sunscreen. Avoid loose powders for school and college because that stuff can get everywhere. Always keep a little compact handy and touch up if necessary. I will recommend the ''Mac Studio Fix Powder" Or if you are on a budget, you can use the "Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Powder". Let me know in the comments If you want me to review it. :)

3. Face mist.

A face mist is very essential to have. You can spritz it before putting makeup on and skip the toner. You can also use it on makeup to freshen up our face. Thermal spring water is the best. Brands like ''La Roche Posay'' makes amazing face mists. Some even come with SPF. Or you can use something as simple as rose water. Just pour it into a tiny spray bottle and put in your handbag.

4. Blotting sheet/tissue.

You will definitely get oily throughout the day and instead of putting powder on that oil and clogging your pores, blot it with a blotting sheet or you can even use a single sheet of tissue.
This will keep your face from looking like a pure ghee sweet :p

Use a blotting sheet or a tissue paper to blot the oil form your face and mist your face with a face mist and then let it dry and then use a compact. You can also use it the other way, as if, first put some powder and then the mist to get a fresh and natural look.

5. Kohl Pencil& Eyebrow pencil.

If you wear eye makeup everyday, then a kohl pencil is always a good option. You can line your water line or lash line or even tight-line your eyes. It will open up your eyes. I really like the "Lakme eyeconic kajal". Keep both black and brown. If you're a beginner, then brown is always good. If you like it bold and brave, then go for black. You can also fill in your eyebrows with it. Use the brown or mix it with a little bit of black but do not use just the black, as black can make them look a bit too drawn on. You can use a white or a nude pencil for the lower lash line to make your eyes look more awake and less tired.

(I hope you can see the difference)

6. Liquid eyeliner.

You can use this with or without the kohl. If you like to do a cat eye everyday, then this is perfect. I don't know how much makeup you are allowed to wear to school these days, but a thin line, very close to the lash line can make a huge difference too. So, if you're not a kohl person, then you can use a liquid liner, or you can use both or none :P

7. Mascara.

This is very very essential. Literally, if you're running out of time and you do not have the time to do your eye makeup, two coats of mascara will do the thing for you. Use a waterproof one if you live in a humid area. Mascara opens up  your eyes and makes them look awake. Use it on the top lashes and bottom lashes and apply two coats. If you want it to look natural then skip the bottom lashes or use a clear mascara for the bottom lashes. After putting it on your lashes, whatever is left on the wand, just lightly run through your eyebrows. This will make them stay in place all day long.

8. Lipbalm / Lipsticks / Lipgloss.

Most people prefer a lip balm and I would recommend a lip balm too. If you want some color, then use a tinted lip balm and always use something that has a little bit of SPF like the "Maybelline Baby Lips". You can top it off with lipstick or lip gloss. However, I would not recommend on using a lipstick every single day.

9. Eye shadows and blushes.

I would not recommend using eye shadow and blush for everyday to school, but if you want to, then invest in a good nude pallet. Or you can use a peachy nude color blush on your lids as well as on the cheeks to make it look natural. I wouldn't recommend on doing crazy contour or highlight for school everyday. Keep it simple and natural.

10. Tissues.

You will need both wet and dry tissues. Just in case your eye makeup smudges or you went to a party in college and ended up with cake all over your face. Honestly, that happens very frequently than you can think. It is always to good to have them and you can use them for emergencies and also someone else might need one sometimes. Many brands make wet tissues including dettol. You can also use baby wipes. They're quite cheap and easily available.

So that's it for this time. I hope you enjoyed reading this post. If you did, then do share it with your friends and give it a "+1". Let me know in the comments if you have anything else that you think is essential for campus life. Subscribe to my blog for more.

I will see you soon, until then take care.
Bye <3
