Hi guys, welcome back to my blog. Today I thought I should talk about hair. Hair is the one thing that every girl loves. Admit it, we all love our hair and try to take care of it as much as possible. But when it comes to how often we should wash it, its always a big confusion. So, today, I a going to share with you guys how to take care of your hair.
Now when it comes to how often you should wash it, it completely depends on your hair, the humidity of your city and the length of your hair. Some of us have very thin and fine hair, while the others have thick and voluminous hair. Some of us have smooth hair while the others have silky hair. So, there is no such thing in common for everyone on how often to wash your hair. Some people say that we should not wash your hair everyday. Even i would say that. But in some extreme cases, where the humidity is high, and you have very fine hair or maybe you workout everyday and sweat a lot on your scalp; when these three are the things that happen everyday, then of course you need to wash your hair everyday. On the other hand, if you have very thick hair and the humidity is very less where you live and you don't seem to sweat a lot everyday, then you can wash your hair as late as once or twice a week. If you are in neither of the category, i.e, your hair is neither too thick and nor too thin and the weather is confusing, then you might wanna wash your hair every two or three days. On the days when you are not washing your hair, you can use a dry shampoo or baby powder to reduce the greasiness. You can also use a blow drier on a cold setting to give a little bounce to your hair on the days when you are not gonna wash it. That's the most safe and convenient way as there is no damage from the heat or the products.
Usually the hair gets more oily in the summer time than in the winter, so i would say wash your hair more often in the summer and less in the winter. In the winter, your scalp is usually more on the drier side. Do a hot oil treatment at home an hour before or the night before washing the hair.
Hot oil treatment:
Take Two tablespoons of coconut/olive oil in a bowl and microwave it for 15 seconds. Take a little bit and apply it to the scalp and thoroughly massage for 10 minutes and then bring it down. Put your hair up in a shower cap. Wait for an hour or overnight if you can, then shampoo and condition as normal.
Always use a serum after washing your hair. Take 2-3 drops and rub it to your hair form mid lengths to the ends of your hair. This will de-tangle your hair much easier. Never use serum on your scalp. That can cause hair fall. There a special serums meant for your scalp.
On one or two day old hair, use a leave on conditioner or a non sticky hair oil. A non sticky hair oil can actually be applied on your scalp, but I wouldn't recommend on doing that. Always apply from mid lengths to ends of the hair and what is the left on the hands can be rubbed at the top of your hair.
So, it completely depends on your hair and the place where you live in and your lifestyle to decide how often you should be washing your hair. You might not be living in a humid area, but if you are doing vigorous exercise like cardio for two hours daily, then you might wanna wash your hair every other day. Just blow dry with cold air when your not washing it or use dry shampoo, or if you can't take all that sweat for one whole day, then just wash it everyday, but make sure that you use a little bit of oil before you wash it.
General tips;
* Do not use heat on your hair everyday. Heat can damage your hair ripping it of its keratin and make it dry and rough.
* Never skip oiling your hair. Regular oiling is very good for your hair and makes its super soft and healthy.
* Get regular trims to avoid split end. Trim every 3 months. Prevention is better.
* Do not sleep with your hair open. Tie it into a bun or a loose braid and try to use a satin pillow case to reduce the friction.

I very much agree with your tips. My hair don't survive without oiling.
