How to make makeup last longer: Lipstick.

Hi Everyone!

So it feels really embarrassing  when you put on lipstick and it transfers to your wine glass and other people's cheeks. So i am going to share my thoughts on how to make it last longer and transfer proof.

So start off by exfoliating your lips. Take a bit of petroleum jelly or lip balm onto a tooth brush and gently rub over your lips. Doing so will remove any layers peeling off and make your lips soft and also make them look fuller. Leave the lip balm/petroleum jelly for about 10 minutes and then wipe off with tissue.

Apply a lip primer/ or dab a bit of foundation or concealer on your lips.

Priming your lips is an important step. This will fill in the lines and create a smooth base for lipstick and make it last longer.

Next, Line your lips with a lip liner. Doing so will prevent the color from bleeding, especially when you wear dark colors, lip liner is a  must. Use a shade closest to your lipstick or to the natural color of lips and line you lips.

After lining your lips, fill them in using a lip brush or your fingers.
Then apply your favorite lipstick.

To make your lipstick last longer, blot it with a tissue and re-apply it.
Repeat this step.

It will make your lipstick last longer. TO make it transfer proof, take a piece of tissue and place it on your lips, take a powder brush and dust some powder  over your lips.

This is also a great way to turn creamy or glossy lipstick into matte ones.

You can apply lipstick over this once again to get the glossy effect.

Take a powder brush and dust some powder along the edges of lips to prevent any further bleeding.

You can also apply a lip gloss of you want a more glossy effect. But do not go overboard.
Less is More when it comes to gloss, especially on dark lips.

And viola, transfer-proof and long-lasting lipstick for the night.
